Seventeen-year-old Lilli Tagger continued her impressive run of form, winning the ITF W75 tournament in Serbia on Sunday. she defeated 16-year-old Russian qualifier Radda Solotararew 5-7, 6-2 in the final, securing her second title in adult competition following a win in Bucharest.
Tagger navigated a challenging path to the championship, winning from the eighth position and overcoming opponents in three sets starting from the quarter-finals. Her recent performances have been remarkably consistent, with her only losses since early August coming against compatriot Sinja kraus in the Amstetten final and the vienna semi-finals.
Career-high Ranking for Tagger
This victory propels Tagger to a new career-high ranking. The Junior French open champion will climb into the top 220 in the world rankings from her previous position of 275, as of Monday, September 23, 2025.
Swiatek Wins WTA Title in South Korea
