Limerick, ireland – A vacant retail space on O’Connell Street is getting a festive makeover this holiday season, transforming into a pop-up boutique offering stylish finds for shoppers. Siobhan Cronin, owner of the successful Newcastle West boutique G-Boutique, is bringing her curated selection of ladies’ wear to Limerick city for a six-week stint.
The G-Boutique pop-up shop opens its doors this Friday, December 13th, and will run until January 20th. Shoppers can expect a range of brands including Yaya, B Young, Hope and Ivy, Surkana, Raluca, Salsa Jeans, along with jewelry, accessories, and homeware.
“We pride ourselves on providing personalized customer service and giving tailored advice to find the perfect outfit,” cronin told Live 95 News. “We cater to all body types and personal tastes and think there will be something for everyone in the pop-up.”
This initiative follows a recent trend of innovative uses for vacant retail spaces in Limerick. The former Debenhams building is currently hosting the Limerick School of Art and Design’s 2024 Christmas Showcase, featuring the work of over 100 artists across various mediums.
Adding to the festive spirit, the former Billy Higgins building on sarsfield Street is showcasing a nostalgic window display of popular toys from years past.
