Limerick Woman, Noreen Fitzpatrick, Dies Aged 82

Noreen Fitzpatrick of Limerick City, Ireland, passed away peacefully at Milford Care Centre on April 1st, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was a lifelong partner to Noel and a mother to six children, having predeceased two daughters, Susan, and Anna.

Fitzpatrick is survived by her partner Noel, and her children Mary, Elaine, Christine, Kerri, and Anthony, as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a wide circle of family and friends.

Funeral Arrangements

Reposing will take place at Cross’s Funeral Home, Lower Gerald Griffin Street, on Tuesday, April 7th, from 4pm to 6pm. The funeral will arrive at the Holy Family Church, Southill, on Wednesday, April 8th, for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by burial at Mount St. Oliver Cemetery.

The Requiem Mass will be streamed live, with a link to follow, according to Live 95.

She was predeceased by her parents Michael and Mary, sister Breda, nephew Mikey, and Teresa and Noel.
