Lindenwood Hockey Closes Regular Season Against Alaska Anchorage

Maryland Heights, Mo. – The Lindenwood University men’s hockey team will conclude its 2025-26 regular season this weekend with a pair of home games against Alaska Anchorage at the Centene Community Ice Center. Friday’s puck drop is scheduled for 7:10 p.m., followed by a 6:10 p.m. Start on Saturday.

The Lions are coming off a split series at Stonehill College last weekend, their final road contests of the season. Lindenwood secured a 3-1 victory on Friday night, fueled by second-period goals from Oliver Houde, Michael Bevilacqua, and Brody Mortensen. Goaltender Liam Beerman delivered a strong performance, stopping 38 shots to improve his record to 8-4-0. Saturday’s game saw Stonehill rally with five unanswered goals, including three in the third period, to win 5-1, despite an early goal from Jaeden Mercier.

Lindenwood holds a 5-3 record against independent competition this season, having split series with both LIU and Alaska Anchorage, and sweeping Stonehill at home. The team currently boasts an average of 3.42 goals per game, ranking them 14th nationally in scoring offense.

Individually, Giovanni Morneau leads the Lions with 28 points, comprised of ten goals and a team-best 18 assists. Jacob Fletcher tops the team in goals with 11. Michael Bevilacqua has been on a point streak, registering at least one point in eight of his last nine appearances. Both Fletcher and Olivier Houde were recognized as NCAA Division-I Independent Players of the Month in January, each posting a 5-6-11 stat line.

Alaska Anchorage enters the weekend with an overall record of 4-20-1, following a split series against Alaska Fairbanks. The Seawolves currently rank 61st out of 63 Division-I teams in scoring offense (1.64 goals per game), scoring defense (4.08 goals against per game), and scoring margin (-2.44).

Karter McNarland leads Alaska Anchorage in points and assists with 13 points (one goal, 12 assists). Ryan Johnson (2-9-11) and Joey Potter (4-6-10) also contribute double-digit point totals. Tyler Krivtsov has been the primary goaltender for the Seawolves, posting a 4-13-1 record with a .902 save percentage and a 3.48 goals-against average.

Historically, Lindenwood’s record against Alaska Anchorage stands at 1-4-1. The first meeting between the two teams occurred on March 10, 2023, ending in a 7-7 tie. The most recent matchup took place on February 17, 2026, resulting in a 1-0 loss for Lindenwood. The Lions are 2-2-0 at home against the Seawolves and are currently on a one-game losing streak in the series.

Following this weekend’s series, Lindenwood will host a pair of exhibition games against the US National Team Development Program. The first game is scheduled to be played outdoors on Saturday, February 21st at 7:10 p.m., with the second game following on Sunday, February 22nd at 2:10 p.m.
