Van Poortvliet Joins Lions Training squad After Injury
Leicester scrum-half Jack van poortvliet has received a late call-up to train with the British and Irish Lions. this follows a minor glute strain suffered by Ireland’s Jamison Gibson-Park.
Van Poortvliet is scheduled to arrive in Dublin on Tuesday. He will assist the Lions as they prepare for their upcoming match against Argentina on Friday. The original squad included Gibson-Park,England’s Alex Mitchell,and Wales’ Tomos Williams,all selected by head coach Andy Farrell.
