Lisa Hochstein, Jody Glidden Deny cocaine Rumors After RHOM Episode
Updated June 14, 2025
lisa Hochstein and her boyfriend, Jody Glidden, are pushing back against rumors sparked by a recent episode of The Real Housewives of Miami. The episode led viewers to speculate about possible drug use.

The controversy stems from the June 11 RHOM season premiere, during which Glidden, 51, was overheard saying, “We’re going for a shot and some AC… In my room.Wanna go?” Some viewers interpreted “AC” as a code word for cocaine.
Hochstein, 42, addressed the rumors on Instagram, calling the episode’s editing a “gross misrepresentation” of events.
“I can’t beleive I have to address such ridiculous rumors,” hochstein wrote, insisting the episode was manipulated.

She clarified that the suite mentioned was a common area for friends and family, not a secluded space.
“Jody and our non-cast friends were hanging out in our primary suite and lounge area which we use as a common space,” Hochstein explained. “Our friends did not want to be filmed, so they sought out privacy in our hangout spot.” She added, “Any implication beyond that reality is wholly false and upsetting. And for the record, AC = Air Conditioning, something essential in Miami!”

Glidden also responded, expressing frustration with the assumptions. He stated that the reality was much less sensational.
“Sigh… I live in Miami and I’m a grown man. If I were doing that, who cares? It’s probably a safe assumption for 50% of Miami,” Glidden wrote. “it just happens that I’m a fitness fanatic that barely drinks.” He explained that his friends avoided the cameras, saying, “Most of my friends don’t like to be on camera either. But they came to support me on my birthday, not to be on a TV show…”

Glidden added that the group moved to the master suite to escape the heat. “It’s not some little bathroom. It’s a whole other birthday in my master suite with working AC.” He also claimed the scene was edited to explain his absence during an argument.
“[The scene] was added just to explain why I wasn’t in the room during the argument,” Glidden said.

He concluded, “I’m barely ever in any group scenes as this isn’t my thing. I’m there to support lisa, not get pulled into chaos… I’m not a cast member, and I have a daughter, so I think the drama should be centered around those that want to be there.”
The Real Housewives of Miami airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
