“Wow, what an experience! You arrive to the building and have to take an elevator up to the restaurant and are greeted with a beautiful vibe I wish I could have at my house. Low-lit lighting, foliage, and decor reminiscent of a coastal getaway. We met friends here for restaurant week and ordered off the tailored menu. For my order, the mocktail was a fun twist, the appetizer wasn’t a traditional salad but still delicious, the main was served on a beautiful sombrero plate, and the dessert filled me over the top! I loved that the Greek salad was essentially a block of cheese with tomatoes, (I eve”

“Perfect date night spot on a Saturday. I somehow got lucky the morning of to get a resy. Lexi was our server and she was absolutely amazing! I would want her again when we come back! She provided great recommendations, had wonderful etiquette, and even packed up our food for us. She went above and beyond! The food came out HOT and was absolutely delicious! We're mainly vegetarians but do enjoy seafood from time to time, and the scallops were perfectly charred and paired so well with the corn base. We ordered the wild mushroom humus, holiday item that featured potato pancakes, grilled cauliflow”

“I’ve visited this spot three times now, once for brunch and twice for dinner. The food has been consistently delicious. The green harissa chicken is a standout, and the chocolate babka French toast is easily the best I’ve had in a long time. The pita and hummus always taste incredibly fresh, and the portion sizes are generous across the board. It’s a popular spot, so expect a bit of a wait as well as delay in service during busy weekends, but it’s nothing out of the ordinary. The only minor downside was that on one of my visits, the music was played at a volume that made conversation a bit di”

“Beautiful atmosphere the best service. I especially enjoyed the dips and appetizer plates. The meats (kebabs and skirt steak) were not to my liking but I know people who would like them. The whipped feta and roasted garlic hummus are worth a repeat trip.”

“Aba is hands down the best Mediterranean spot I've ever gone to. I've traveled all over Israel, Lebanon, Greece, and Cyprus, eating everything from street food to hidden gems, and this place tops it all.We went once for dinner, loved it so much we came back next day for brunch. Service was spot on—super friendly staff that made it feel chill. Presentation was art on the plate and tasted otherworldly. The vibe was upscale but relaxed, just elite. Presentation and interior were breathtaking. Chicago folks, get to Aba. 5 stars no question.”

“From beginning to end, this place was an amazing experience. The host was very sweet and our server Jake was also incredibly nice + patient in describing the different menu options. We ordered a bit of everything - the whipped feta, which my husband said he can have everyday breakfast lunch and dinner for the rest of his life. We also got deep fried potatoes, steak and frittes and crispy chicken thighs. The dark chocolate dessert was a delight. The ambiance here was top notch, so nice - in fact, I thought the prices on the menu were an incredible value. Thanks again Jake and whole Aba staff a”

“This is a great option if you are looking for a Mediterranean cuisine experience at West Loop. Make sure you have reservation because the place is fully booked almost every day. The ambience is very cosy, from the decoration to the dimmed illumination, will make your experience intimate and memorable. The rib humus and the chilli shrimps were the highlights of the night. The desert was delicious too and they also have a estense wine menu. A sommelier will help explore the options and give you good recommendations. This a great restaurant. I am not surprised that it’s so trendy.”

“Aba is delightful! I enjoyed everything from the entrance to the service and the vibes. Olivia was our server and her recommendations were spot on. She took care of the table’s allergies without hesitation and was super friendly and attentive. I ordered steak frites, mushroom hummus, and the “Say Less” mocktail. I would come back and order the exact same thing tomorrow as long as Olivia is my server. Outstanding all around! Compliments to the chef!”

“Absolutely stunning restaurant! From the lush greenery and chic Mediterranean vibe to the warm, sun-drenched patio, Aba feels like a little coastal escape in the city. Truly one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Chicago. Every dish was incredible — the Shawarma-spiced skirt steak & eggs was bursting with flavor, the Short Rib Shakshuka had just the right touch of spice and comfort, and the charred eggplant was smoky perfection. The truffled salmon and hamachi with charred avocado were fresh, light, and perfectly balanced. And don’t even get me started on the crème brûlée pie — absolut”
