“I found this post office staff very patient and knowledgeable after working with them for many years. Even after I moved to another city, I still use them because of their extended Saturday hours, while I get my beauty appointments at the shopping center on site, grocery shopping at Traders Joe, Safeway, eat at the Korean BBQ or Japanese restaurant, then enjoy a walk at the beautiful Crown Beach with amazing view of San Francisco across from the post office . What more can one ask for?”

“8 days before Christmas, line out the door all day long & three employees working steadily & calmly & politely helping everyone. Impressive. Despite the holiday rush & 15 people ahead of me I only waited about 10 minutes.”

“The workers have been polite to me..but this location seems to have many problems from running out of stamps to leaving me in a dispute over there money order process. I purchased a money order then the machine would not print it.my account was charged and I now have to wait until who knows when to get my money back..This was for my rent .now my rent will be late.I left in tears”

“We scheduled a passport with photo appointment 5 weeks in advanced. When we arrived they had us wait 20 minutes past our appointment time. Then asked us where our photos were to which I explained this appointment included photo. They informed us that their camera wasn't working and the official passport guy actually didn't come into work today. They told us we would have to reschedule our appointment. We drove over to walgreens and had our pictures taken and printed within 20 minutes but the post office still wouldn't review our applications at that point. We are very disappointed in the servi”

“Had my fingerprints done here; it took more than a dozen tries to get high quality prints (apparently I have sweaty hands 😅) but they were so patient and kind, and after working with me on it for 15+ mins, we got 10 high scoring prints. Thank you so much for not giving up on my clammy hands!”

“If I could give this place no stars, I would! You knock on the door for passport service no one answers. You wait a couple minutes and knock again. You get a rude African America male with no willingness to help and a huge attitude problem! I picked a location that take pictures, he tells me to go to Walgreens and have the pictures taken there. I don’t understand why they have these people in customer facing positions. I wasn’t rude or disrespectful, but if you hate your job. Don’t take it out on the citizens that are paying for a service!”

“Went in to drop a package off. Lady at counter is absolutely rude and lifeless; if this is your chosen job, maybe try to enjoy it a little. She sent me to the back of the line three different times, and I had to correct something that she could have elaborated on the first two times. Absolutely horrible customer service.”

“The black lady with long hair is rude. Talk to people with no manners thinking she aboves everyone else. Avoid her services”

“Alameda Main Post Office has plenty of free parking, polite and knowledgeable staff, a self service kiosk. Easy wheelchair access.”

“You can’t trust their walk-in hours for passport services. The services are supposed to be before the post office opens, so good luck finding anyone to help you. I tried three days in a week at 7:45am just to be turned away each time. The first day, Wednesday 7/3 I waited for 20mins then a worker came out to say their system is down. Ok, fine. Friday 7/5 I showed up and waited 30 mins and nobody came out, and I had to leave for work. Super annoying. Mind you, there was a line of like 5 people all waiting. Saturday 7/6 after 15 mins someone came out and said the authorized person called out. Th”
