What visitors are saying

“This hotel is right around the corner from the heart of the mag mile, with LOTS of good food options within a block or two of walking. Service was awesome, staff was welcoming and very friendly. The bar in the lobby is ALIVE at night, DJ on the weekends! The rolm was clean, but the ban-style door tovthe bathroom didnt actually close all the way. There is no air vent for the bathroom. Plenty of charging ports near the bed on both sides. Pillows are "fine" . By that I mean bring your own if you're at the age where you need to. Overall would stay here again, the points spent is a deal compared”

“I want to take a moment to recognize Sommeray for providing truly exceptional customer service. From the moment an issue with parking came up, she stepped in without hesitation and resolved it extremely quickly and efficiently. What really stood out was how she made sure not only that the problem was fixed, but that myself and my guests felt comfortable, welcomed, and genuinely cared for throughout our stay. In addition, the property was very clean, and the staff overall was pleasant, professional, and always willing to help. Sommeray’s professionalism, attentiveness, and positive attitude ma”

“We stayed in this modern hotel from Wednesday May, 22nd-Sunday May, 26th. The only problem that we ran into was the front desk charged us for the stay as well as Trip.com. However, the staff members worked to get everything rectified in a timely manner. Also, it’s important to note that housekeeping does not frequently come to clean the rooms or replenish towels and cloths. If you need them and request them, they are available but just don’t expect a daily visit!”

“OMG we had an awesome 2 days at Aloft. We were walking distance from everything we needed. Even found the redhead piano bar and had a ball! We had a corner room and were able to see our vehicle from the window. I was a little worried we wouldn’t be able to check in early when I called but when we checked in with Merica she took great care of us and our dog. Yes dogs are allowed which we really appreciate and they have treats an baggies near the front desk. Just please people clean up behind your dog. There is a pool table which we enjoyed and the pool on the 19th floor is heated. We will defin”

“Overall, we had a great stay. Staff was kind, helpful, and responsive. The room and facilities (lobby, lobby restroom, pool, gym, hallways) were all clean and relatively updated. The location was good, and close to shops on the Mile. It was very walkable with our kids (ages 9, 13). The only downfalls were (1) The parking situation was not ideal, and/or very expensive. There is barely space to pull in to check in and drop off stuff before going to a nearby parking garage. I recommend booking a parking garage reservation nearby ahead of time. (2) It can be very noisy in the room. You can hear a ”

“Aloft Mag Mile is in a great location within walking distance to many points of interest (Millenium Park, Navy Pier, Magnificent Mile shops and eateries, and much more). The front desk staff was friendly and attentive and the valet staff service was friendly and prompt. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. We were afraid it might be noisy at night, but it wasn’t during our stay. The fam enjoyed mocktails and cocktails from the W XYZ bar and the weekend DJ. We’ve been staying at Aloft hotels for over ten years, and we would recommend this one.”

“Room was nice and spacious, I booked thru Expedia and I was told I had a food/drink credit but hotel told me to take it up with Expedia and they gave me a $25 credit for a future booking. Lame but whatever, outside of that the experience was cool. The pool area wasn’t heated so I decided not to swim, and would be cool if you can mirror your iPhone to the TV so you can stream sports. But overall 4/5 experience.”

“From moment my family arrived, the staff was welcoming and helpful. The lobby area was very nice, upkept and clean. The rooms were so nice and clean. The service was outstanding. Any time we had a question they would go above and beyond to help. This hotel was central to many of downtowns attractions and walking distance to them as well. Will definitely be back when visiting Chicago.”

“What’s wonderful stay! The staff was kind and friendly at the front desk during our visit. They were super helpful when it came to any questions we had as well. As for the room itself, it was actually pretty decent. King beds were nice and comfortable. The space in the room was adequate for what we paid. A higher floor would have been even better but we took what we could get. The location was great. Everything was close by and within a nice walking distance. This felt more like a luxury vacation”

“City view room did not disappoint and, at least when we booked, seemed like a fair value. Location is very convenient to much of what there is to do in downtown, and connections to public transit are plentiful. However, it was incredibly loud - I know that's not totally on the hotel, but the room doors must be paper thin or poorly sealed because any hall noise makes it in.”
