“They are cheating people with their pricing. I went to buy a pop and a bottle of water.one had a price of 3.79 and the water was 3.99 Jason said to me the prices were wrong.. I said will you honor the price on the bottles? He said “I’m not gonna do that because I haven’t finished the transaction yet”! I don’t do the pricing, y’all did!! I put the water back and keep the soda. I feel you should honored what was on the bottles. There also was a family who bought a hoodie that was price at 29.99 but rung up for $34 plus tax and all Jason said was unfortunately I can’t give you a refund!!! So you”

“Review written 3/11/2025. This is located in Union station in Chicago. Selection of souvenirs (postcards and keychains and magnets and mugs and t shirts etc) and snacks and magazines and books and travel items (travel pillow etc) and toiletries etc. Removing one star because most items are pretty pricey and you could definitely find better prices online with more selection somewhere like Amazon for some of the items like t shirt or mugs etc. But for postcards or some of the magnets, it is a cool spot.”

“Just like a newsstand at an airport except that it is in a train station. Light reading materials, snacks, souvenirs and electronic accessories. All the basics for journey; yes it is a bit expensive but location location location.”

“Overpriced. For a Snapple and a 5oz bag of pretzels I paid $12.92. I should have put everything back and gotten snacks at McDonald’s. Rather annoyed. The bag of pretzels was over $9. You can get a 16oz bag of the same pretzels for that price at a grocery store.”

“It is a bit expensive if you want to buy snacks or sodas but still a lot less than you would pay at the 7-Eleven down Jackson Street. There is a good selection of books and local souvenirs (T-shirts, postcards, refrigerator magnets and so on). All in all, similar to what you might find at an airport convenience store but quite a bit cheaper. The service was efficient and warm.”

“The easiest way to find this souvenir shop is to follow signs inside the station for the food court. With exception of having a hard time finding the location, this is exactly what I was looking for in last minute souvenirs before leaving Chicago. They have a fair amount to pick from, considering how small the store is.”

“So I went to the Chicago New Nows in Chicago . All I wanted was a plastic bag because I bought many things that couldn't fit in my back pack. I was being polite and ask nicely if I can have one but they were mean and rude. The worker ask "Is that all? Just a plastic bag? Well you'll have to buy something here to get the plastic bag or pay 7 cent." His tone was unprofessional and rude and it seems like he couldnt careless about it. I was like standing there baffle, because I was nice to them and ask politely yet they were rude about it, me buying only a plastic bag. Other customers were there a”
