“This shelter changed my entire life in the best way possible! If it wasn't for this shelter I wouldn't be where I am today. Shout out to Betty Julie Cindy and Benson! Could not have done it without you guys 💪”

“I went to drop off some stuff. But the work these amazing people are doing goes so under appreciated. They offer more than a roof they offer a safe space, help when the families and women need it the most and most importantly a friend/family when they feel alone. Thank you for helping my family when I am unable to. You are appreciated and we see you!”

“During my time in this shelter... All I can say is this. Only 2 employees there are fair, doing their job! They have petty rules with some petty people that live here... For me starting as the youngest. What this place really needs to reconsider.. Is the clients that reach out to them! Because they lack of safety precautions, and avoid the living rights to the people that stay here! It's like they don't care!! Again... The only ones that did care was my case manager, and one of the female staff taking night-shifts. That's it.”

“We were grateful to be able to bless some people who are less fortunate than us at the moment. And I commend all the good works that the people who run the shelter does for their community.”

“This place is literally what YOU make of it. I moved to this shelter from Brooklyn NY with a suitcase, $25 in my pocket & my 4 year old at the time in 2016. I was helped tremendously by staff, giving me so many different resources to help me put my son into school, transportation, work & aftercare help. I was in this shelter for 7 months to be exact & of course like any other shelter It was drama but I minded the business that I came to take care of & nobody I mean nobody ever said or did anything to me that made me feel otherwise. I’m saying this to say if you go into any shelter mind your b”

“You know what’s worse then living in a place with “to much drama”? Or living next to a “Crack House”? Being homeless on the streets. This place is safe, warm and available to those who need the help.. when I see people leaving remarks like this place is got too much drama or the house next-door is like a crack house everyone is missing the point. I’m pretty sure the people who left them negative reviews are really not homeless people they just people who want to stir up the pot. Instead try smoking some pot and relax and look at the big picture instead of being so petty. Hope you’re never in ”

“Horrible horrible horrible. I cant explain how terriable being in a family shelter is already then add rude staff no help with getting out and more staff drama then anything else. Then mix is racism. And butt kissing and some families get all there resources other none. Sober house next store more like crack house. Dont even drug test. Ive reported drug use on grounds got robbed a few times no help just lock up your stuff. Got so bad had to get locks and cameras. Harry and Benson only staff who actually loved there jobs and they got treated like poop”
