“I had a really great experience at Remington’s. I ordered the crab cakes with fries and they were absolutely delicious ; perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. The atmosphere was beautiful but still relaxed, which made it a perfect spot to start my evening downtown. A special shoutout to my server, Jeanae. She had such a bubbly personality and was incredibly helpful with recommendations. She checked in at all the right times and made the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. “Had dinner at Remington’s before heading to the theater and it turned out to be the perfect start to the evening. The crab cakes were excellent; full of flavor and mostly crab (which you definitely appreciate when you order crab cakes). The fries were hot and crispy and paired perfectly with the meal. “Pre-concert dinner with my cousins was at Remington‘s. I’ve been to this restaurant once before for dinner. Our server was Darren, who was very attentive and friendly and went out of his way for me. We started with a round of cocktails and I asked Darren for a gold rush, which is a bees knees only with bourbon. Darren made it happen and it was perfect. My husband had an old-fashioned, actually two so it must’ve been a good cocktail. For dinner, my husband had the mahi mahi sandwich. Our waitress showed very little interest in assisting us, offering no smile and instead rolling her eyes at some of our questions about the menu. We ordered the lobster deviled eggs, filet mignon, and salmon. The appetizer was very good and the salmon was delicious. “Came here for lunch on the Thursday of the Chicago Jazz Fest. We got in right after they opened so were able to be seated by the front window. Nice ambiance and a great view. Our server was very friendly and attentive throughout the meal. This definitely added to the experience.
