“Some of the things here: * Medical clinic, meant to help those living at these ministries, but also for the entire nearby community. * Thrift shop, a bit cramped but jammed with goods for sale; there are now also one or two other nearby buildings with furniture and appliances * Shelter for men * Shelter for families * Boys home * Youth center, which has things like a playground and video games, as well as learning spaces and activities * Metal shop, which offers training * A woodworking shop There are also usually giveaway items near the thrift store, generally food items like bread.”

“Loved the great selection of coats. If you need anything they probably have it there. I will shop there every time I'm in Indianapolis”

“Visited the Good News thrift shop last weekend while in town for a work conference. As big thrifters, although the store was small, we were impressed by the layout and cleanliness of the store. They do a great job of staging their inventory. The proceeds support a great cause -a men's shelter to help men get back on their feet. The employees (shelter occupants) were very kind and helpful. Highly recommend this thrift store! A+ all around!”

“Reasonable prices; lots of items and wide range of selection. Didn't get to shop around the inside due to having a bag and purse the store has a sign on the inside that has "no purses or bags" allowed (and I had both lol). I looked around the inside from the door.”

“Barely had our feet in the door when we were told they were closing in 5 mins and needed to leave even though 4 other cars had pulled up and stated shopping too. Will not be back.”

“Daughter and I went to shop and was told that I couldn't bring my handbag in (which carries my valuable items like my keys, cash, and debit cards) because of store policy. I had no pockets so idk how I was suppose to shop or buy anything without those essentials plus I'm not willing to jeopardize my car and belongings in case someone takes them. I understand the policy if someone had a backpack or messenger bag but hand purses should be ok. They have the same kind of policies in major cities like Chicago but handbags are ok.”

“Awful place. Awful arrogant director. Please do not go here for help they only care about collecting free labor. Very audacious to claim to be doing this for God.”

“This place does NOT help the homeless. They will force them to work all hours of day and night for no pay. Will take their social security check or check from work. Offer no rehab programs. They have contracts with local businesses to use homeless labor and not pay them. Over 40% of their income is off the backs of the homeless men they swear they are ‘serving’. I’ve seen the director pull guns on the homeless. Really messed up place. Posting again so everyone knows the truth. Don’t be fooled by the 5 star reviews here, those are for their overpriced thrift store (also ran by the homeless men ”

“Me and my friend went to go shopping there today and after being in the store for about 3 minutes the man at the register told us we had to take our purses to the register we could not carry them around the store I'm pretty sure it was a racial thing seeing that the white women walking around in there didn't have to but he pinpointed my friend out quick I couldn't believe it and them saying that they've had so many people stuffing their bags and walking out I didn't find that plausible because he didn't ask for The other women in the store to leave their bags at the counter he started in on my”
