“Went to three different Hudson’s / CNN stores near Gate H and L at the Chicago Airport. All of them display lower prices on then shelf’s and when you try to checkout it goes about up to 30% higher. Each store when I asked the attended the price listed and showing on the checkout scanner is wrong their answer was exactly the same “ item must have been put in the wrong place”. Exact same answer. Didn’t even flinch like they’ve been trained to do so. When I offered to show them there are multiple products and shelf’s with lower displayed prices and higher on checkout. They replied it’s your choic”

“This is a great one-stop shop for travelers needing last-minute essentials. The store is well-stocked with a variety of souvenirs, making it easy to grab a quick Chicago-themed gift. They have a solid selection of snacks, mints, and cool drinks, perfect for refueling before a flight. For those looking for entertainment or reading material, the book collection is decent, with bestsellers and travel-friendly reads available. Tech travelers can find some basic electronics, and if you’re in need of comfort, they also sell blankets and travel pillows. The prices are on the higher side (as expecte”

“Really enjoyed my experience here. There is a nice blonde lady that just started working there who was very helpful. I think here name was Johanna? Blanking on her name but very helpful, there store was up-kept really nicely. Highly recommend!”

“Tried 3 different locations to find a charging block for my phone. Noticed that employees here rather watch a cell phone than assist customers. 3 different locations in terminal C. The lady at the location across from the Jazz food court didn't have the item but was helpful. The others need a attitude check, break or whatever. Mr Shiny teeth definitely needs some customer service training along with some inventory training. Mr Shiny teeth directed me to self service on a Item that wasn't in inventory, rang up 0.00. May want to fix that bro.”

“The worst service from older African American female clerk infront of gate K6! Attitude.... she was bothered that I was looking at a sweater for more than a few minutes because another customer was telling me that she had purchased one and the first time she washed it, it ripped on the seam. I asked the clerk if their were male and female sizes so I could get as gifts. She yelled out "SIR they are unisex clothing" and then used tone and rolled her eyes as if I was ignorantly asking a question. The sign did not state unisex and the same size in the brown color was wider shaped. She than said "S”

“Clerk went out of her way to direct me and another customer to self checkout so as to avoid having to do it (while carrying on a rambling conversation with another employee). Said self-checkout had a computer glitch, which she had to come rectify, raising her voice and griping the whole way. Incredibly rude. $17 for two snacks and a water. This is the Hudson News near L8, approximately 1125 on 1/28. Avoid.”

“This Hudson News in terminal 3 right near the K Gates, is a great place to grab a snack or a book or something more substantial to eat before you jump on your flight. The prices are consistent with all the other convenience stores here in O'Hare airport. They have self-checkout now so it makes it even faster to grab an item and get to your gate.”

“On 9/5/25, I stopped at Hudson's near the G gates in Chicago. I selected a yogurt, looked at the price sheet on the side of case and it stated, 'various yogurts $4.99'. I went to purchase it with cash and was charged $11.00. The girl closed the sale before I could react that I wasn't going to pay that much but she said she couldn't do a refund. I showed her the price list but both of girls said they had to have manager ok the refund. After numerous demands to speak to manager, I had a plane to catch. #1 She knowingly overcharged me. #2 They lied when they stated they kept 'calling the ”

“Too expensive food and really dry sandwiches. Only condiment packets offered were mustard, but had to add a bunch of mustard to get the sandwich moist. At $12 a sandwich they quality should be a lot better. Also, these sandwiches were just placed out so not an issue of them sitting out, but of the sandwich intrinsically not being good.”

“If I could put zero stars I would. I went in and needed a pair of Apple headphones and accidentally got the wrong attachment since they have them close together. I didn’t realize until I opened the box and I quickly went back to ask for an exchange for the correct attachment for the same price. They were trying to make me buy the adapter device and said they don’t do exchange or returns. I guess you have to be a PERFECT human because they said it was my mistake. Never again am I spending money there for the terrible customer service.”
