What visitors are saying

“I have nothing but the highest compliments for this organization—Pedro, his wife Adriana, their staff, and volunteers. They not only distribute food twice a week at their main locations, but also operate in several other places. I’ve personally seen them by my child’s school handing out bags of food, and even at the train station. In addition, they provide immigration services. Yes, there is a cost, but it’s nowhere near what a lawyer would charge. They rely on volunteers for the food pantry, but they also have employees and a full office to maintain—covering rent, electricity, printing, maili”

“SCAM ALERT !!! Please be careful with this place, especially with Frai Betancur. He asks people to Zelle money to his personal account, then ignores the process and keeps the payment. It’s very upsetting to see someone take advantage of people’s hard-earned income. Do not trust them for any legal documents.”

“I came to the place on Tuesday. And they said they were only open on Wednesday and Saturday. I went there on Wednesday and the food was delicious. They had a great variety of different foods.”

“Since the life costs has gone up I been visiting this place. Like any thing we used to afford now is a bit more complicated to manage the essentials for the house. This place is fair as a customer I always had good food from them fresh vegetables that are meant for consumption with in a day or two. I am bless with the white rice I have given pasta sandwiches, meat, bread, milk, juice and snacks. Sometimes blue apron donates condiments and I am very grateful for that. Sometimes they get soda donations from target and makes my day. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that they need more com”

“This is our 1st time to have this experience. We made an appointment for 2:30pm on 6/19. It was nice to receive a notice to remind us our order will start from 2:30 today. However, we showed up at 2:33 this afternoon. we were told the food center was closed (Actually they still have tones of food at the site, the staff were packing). there were other families came in a few minutes late too, some of them took bus here, but late a few minutes because of the traffic. The manager didn't show any understanding, any sympathy for the people came in late and got nothing. Instead of giving out any fo”

“Took my $700 dollars for documents to make me a citizen but I was then told that it was fake and my money was gone 😢. I’m sad now but they have free soup for poor people like me before I get sent home.”

“It's never the same location and it's VERY frustrating that they don't update the Plentiful app correctly. The owner, Pedro, is an elderly man who needs to hire more tech-savvy people. This is ridiculous, the second time coming to this address and can't find the pantry”

“It is wrong the way some of the volunteers/workers talked to you like a pig. They give you rotten food that is not good for consumption.. As I stood there waiting for hours, the volunteers have friends/families loading their cars up. Some put aside so much for themselves. Saw one woman put several bottles of Starbucks coffee aside, salmon ,shrimp, sausages, telling the other workers/volunteers she want those.. Is this food ??? They give you 10am appointment and start 11:30am This place is unorganized”

— Lisa Bornfree · ★☆☆☆☆

“There is nothing wrong for the appointment you made. There is nothing wrong for your understanding about 2:30 appointment, if your appointment shows 2:30, it means the order supposed to start at 2:30, not finished at 2:30. This is basic sense. It is ridiculous the person in charge doesn't understand it, and fooling around people with his no sense. The reason people late for a few mins and got nothing is not because there were no food there, it is because the people work in the food pantry wanted to close and go home early. Who cares you took bus all the way came over! who cares you will not”
