What visitors are saying

“The staff are really friendly and make up for this busted hotel. It’s a rustic style but the interiors are scuffed, dirty, poorly cleaned/maintained and the rooms are the size of a children’s shoebox. Super dark interiors too with little to no natural light - couldn’t wait to check out. Location is excellent though and the bed was ok too.”

“It's a very, very bad experience. The room is awful; you can clearly hear the noises in the hallway and the other rooms, especially when other people close and open their doors. You can never get a good night's sleep. The room is also very small. Furthermore, the breakfast service is ridiculous. If you have two guests, they cannot have breakfast separately because the hotel only provides one voucher. When the first guest has breakfast, they collect the voucher back, so the second guest cannot have breakfast, and they refuse to accommodate that. The front desk is also ridiculous and rude. They ”

“I LOVE this hotel. The genuine hospitality and comfortable beds are honestly all I need. I love that although you're in a really busy location, it's not super loud. It's a cute tucked away boutique-y spot. It's sleek, simple and the food is fantastic. This is my go to here on out for both location and comfort. And they're SOO kind here.”

“I did not have a great experience at this hotel. I Stayed here for eight nights In one of the accessible rooms. Every time I would take a shower, the fire alarm would go off because they had a weird type of fire alarm And placed it right next to the shower. The temperature in the room would either be extremely hot or extremely cold with no in between. The windows Sweat quite a bit and got my books wet. I had given the time New York a deposit when I came In and they chose to not reimburse me because my Deposit apparently was used to pay facility fees. They also tried to charge me for snacks tha”

“We loved our stay at the time! Perfect location for our mother daughter NYC adventure. Easy walking access to broadway shows, shopping at Rockefeller, and Times Square. 2 stops on the subway to go to Lincoln center. Such a perfect home base for our days walking around. Rooms were clean and well-kept.”

“Spent our first night in New York at another hotel, which was NOT as advertised. We were able to check in before 10am, enjoyed amazing customer service, and a very comfortable room. All of this directly across from the theater we will be attending this afternoon! Definitely will return.”

“I overly research when booking hotels, and it was difficult to choose between this hotel and a few others. We chose The Time because we could book a suite (traveling with 2 kids), the decor matched our style, and the location worked well for us. Will start out with the pros: The staff was very responsive and helpful. The concierge, Eric, brought us champagne and snacks for the kids, which was a nice surprise. The housekeeping was good as well, replacing towels and making the beds. The hotel overall was very stylish and we loved the feel of it. The cons: There was mold in the shower, all around”

“My sister and I stayed here this past weekend. We were immediately greeted with men holding the door open for us. Reception had the most pleasant man, Josh, greeting us. He was very helpful with all we needed to do and he carried our bags to our room. He greeted us every time he saw us and asked how the trip was going. Me being me, I had to get a pic with him before we left. (Attached) Our room was very clean and organized. There were a few things that could have been fixed like the shower door didn't completely close, but nothing major to where it affected our stay. Location is great as it ”

“The hotel received glowing reviews for its excellent service and spotless rooms. Guests appreciated the friendly staff and comfortable beds, often calling it a perfect stay. The location is highly convenient, with easy access to major attractions. Travelers also mentioned the beautiful decor, quiet atmosphere, and delicious breakfast. With great value and top cleanliness, it's a highly recommended place for both business and leisure trips.”

“This is not a nice hotel. Our room was not ready for check in until two hours after the check in time. The rooms themselves were not comfortable. When we finally got into our room it was 80 degrees and the thermostat did not do anything. The maintenance person came and told us that it's just how new York radiator systems work. If we wanted to cool the room, we could just open the window. The sink in the room was cracked, the headboard was worn, the electrical box in the bathroom was exposed because the plate was 1/4 inch from the hole in the wall. The location was good if you want to be”
