What visitors are saying
“We were disappointed with our visit based on expectations from previous reviews. The check-in process and gentleman that checked us in was okay but the room was disappointing. Upon opening the door we were hit by a musky funky smell. The window didn’t open so we tried airing it out either door open till it got too chilly. The trash in the bin by the tv had someone else’s trash in it. There was part of a soap wrapper on the sink and a used bar of soap on the sink. The rest of the room appeared to have been cleaned (we hoped). Breakfast turned out to be toaster waffles or toast. No biscuits and”

“The Queen of Diamonds Inn is a true hidden gem that perfectly complements a visit to the Crater of Diamonds. From the moment you arrive, you’re welcomed by an atmosphere that feels warm, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed for rest after a day of adventure. It strikes a beautiful balance between comfort, charm, and quiet elegance. The rooms are clean, cozy, and inviting, with attention to detail that makes you feel genuinely cared for rather than simply accommodated. Everything feels intentional—from the comfortable beds to the calm, relaxing environment that allows you to fully unwind. It’s ”

“We were on a short easter trip with our family. We came to Murfreesboro to go diamond digging at the Crater of the Diamond State Park. This was a great hotel. I really like staying at small hotels if you can find them. In this area you don't have a lot of options of places to stay. ||Golf/Pool: We did not get to golf since we were in the off-season but it is an option during the right time. The pool was open but my girls said it was too cold for the, but another family did enjoy it.||Rooms: The rooms. have been updated compared to what you see on this website (sorry I did not take any photos) ”

“This is the best place if you're going to Crater of diamonds State Park. The staff are very kind and friendly. The lobby is a beautifully well maintained Victorian style house. The motel room were quiet and plenty of pillows. The room and bathroom was the cleanest I have ever seen in an older motel. I was very very impressed. It was a 3 minute drive to the state Park to dig for diamonds. . Thank you, we had a great stay!”

“Super cute hotel with great service. We somehow booked the wrong night and when I called them to let them know we would have a late arrival they told us we had booked for the previous night. They nicely fixed our reservation with no hassle. We needed a late check in so they made arrangements for our room key. Breakfast was fantastic, our room was large and clean. Everyone was friendly. Definitely recommend”

“I only have great things to say about The Queen of Diamonds Inn! My friends and I were visiting the state park as well as family in the area. The check in was later than the office hours and was expedited efficiently with no problems, the room was clean. The room had a pleasant smell and temperature. The beds were comfortable and so were the pillows. The fridge helped us with snacks that we had brought. Everything was very nice INCLUDING THE PRICE! To top it off, we had 2 mornings of the BEST continental breakfast we have ever had during a motel stay. The ladies with house keeping were super s”

“Stayed Friday 7/11 and Saturday 7/12 night. 2 queen beds for 3 people. Came in with no prior reservations, but they had availability and check in was easy. Clerk at office was friendly and informative on the area. Loved getting to chat with her for a long while. Room was nice and cool, and incredibly clean. Quiet and peaceful. Pool was clean. This is going to be our new permanent place to room when we come visit each time.”

“The Queen of Diamonds Inn was such a a nice place to stay during our visit. The room was clean and well kept. The air conditioning worked great. Also, the water pressure in the shower was very strong, which is in contrast to other places we've stayed before. The continental breakfast was delicious - wonderful homemade biscuits and gravy! The only slight downside was that the toilet didn't flush very well, but we let the front desk know about it when we were checking out - we only booked for one night - so hopefully they can get that fixed before the next guest uses the room.”
