What visitors are saying

“Normally we love murphs fish fry. After ordering our food we waited over an hour for it to arrive. They ran out of coleslaw and didn't tell us and subbed a different side without asking. The fish was soggy. The French Fry's were bland and it was impossible to flag down a waitress for katchup salt or pepper. This was our last visit to Murphs”

“Excellent wings and pub food. Decent selection of beers. Always busy when I go on weeknights. Always stop by for dinner before concerts in Rochester. Live music on weekends. Highly recommend.”

— Theodore Gogos · ★★★★★

“Good place for food, meal with the family, comedy nights and music when they got it going on. Friendly people. Wings were good and flavors were excellent but not the best in town but good.”

— Kevin Markman · ★★★★☆ · 2023-1-4

“Murph's has that local bar feel with a cozy atmosphere. A great place to meet up with friends to catch some live music, sports, or conversation. Matt, Cathy and the entire staff of Murph's are attentive, caring and serve you with a smile.”

— Randy Fluker · ★★★★★

“My wife and I stopped in about 5:30 on a Friday night and the restaurant was about 1/2 full and it was totally full by 6:15 when we left. She had the fish fry which in her words was "very tasty" and it was a large portion and I had the crab cakes (2) which were maybe the best I have ever had and also plenty to eat. In addition I had the New England clam chowder which was full of clams and very good. The server was very nice and available when needed.”

“I've been going to Murphy's back when it was on Titus Ave. Will always love stopping in for a drink and some food. Normally I get wings which are always so yummy. But this time I mixed it up and grabbed a burger. This thing was an open face sandwich! I could barely get my mouth around it to take the first bit. Once I finally did, it was delicious. We were placed over in the dinning room area. Which we requested because they have live music EVERY night. Good for some but not something we go for. All and all our night was amazing, stop in next time and try for your self”

“The place was great. The food was great and hot. I don't like warm food at all. The service was good and kept checking table. Will try wings, maybe next time.”

“Great venue for live music good crowd known for their wings and bar food.”

“I have been to this place four times. I have friends that swear by this place. Tonight, however, I was told that no inside drinks were allowed and I explained it was for medical purposes that I have a disability. I even had my crutch with me and my service dog. The last time I was in the owner gave me problems about the service dog. I figured it was a one off and a misunderstanding. Again tonight the owner who was tending, the bar, went against the law and ADA accommodation. I would not recommend this establishment. The food is at best mediocre, but claim to have the best wings in town. If you”
