“⭐ 1 Star – Deeply Disturbing Pattern of Care My daughter went to Palms West to deliver her first child. What should have been a safe, supported experience became traumatic and deeply concerning. The delivery room had no air-conditioning. The temperature was unbearable. We notified the nurse multiple times and were told there were no other rooms available and that “all the rooms are like this.” When the doctor arrived and commented on how hot the room was, the same nurse told the doctor that we had been offered another room and declined. That was completely untrue. We were never offered anoth”

“I went to the pediatric ER yesterday for my daughter and had an amazing experience with Dr. Dave Smith. He was very thorough, personable, and truly listened to all of my concerns. He took the time to walk me through everything and never made us feel rushed. Dr. Smith took the proper precautions to make sure my daughter was safe and answered all of my questions with patience and care. It was clear that he is extremely knowledgeable and dedicated to his patients. Thank you, Dr. Dave Smith, for providing such excellent care for my daughter!”

“I cannot say enough good things about the ER at Palms West Hospital. My father was recently treated there, and the level of care he received was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the staff was attentive, compassionate, and professional. The nurses were incredibly kind and patient, taking the time to explain everything clearly and making sure my father was comfortable. The doctors were thorough, knowledgeable, and acted quickly while still making us feel heard and reassured. What stood out the most was how much genuine care and empathy everyone showed — not just toward my father,”

“We were transferred here from an HCA er to be admitted to the PICU. I can not say enough wonderful things about this hospital and its staff. They were so wonderful to my child and us. They made sure we were well informed of the care plan, and took their time to be sure our toddler was comfortable with each step. We will definitely take the ride down here if future care is needed.”

“I had surgery just a little over 2 weeks ago and my experience was amazing. The nurses on med surg ward Anastajia, Audrey and Delany were amazing! It was my first time staying in the hospital overnight and they made me feel at home. My PCT Jaiddy, Alexis and Cynthia were also very sweet and made me feel very comfortable. Thank you ladies for everything… you ladies were awesome! Keep being amazing”

“I had an upset stomach that wouldn’t go away for 36 hours and I suspected it might be my appendix. I went to the emergency room and the staff was wonderful. They got me through all the testing within the first two hours and I was told that I would need surgery. Seven hours later I was in the emergency room. After surgery, I was brought to a room and stayed the night. I didn’t feel well, but everyone treated me very nicely and tried to make my stay as pleasant as possible. It’s a great hospital, great staff and great treatment.”

“HCA Florida Palm West Hospital, what a great hospital. My mother’s stay has been so peaceful. The nurses are great and so professional and caring. Hospital stays are never a good thing but I am so glad that this team took care of her. The team supervised by Sarah Siebert is super AMAZING. The nurse leaders were always involve and they visited every day to ask for our feedback. The nurses Angelica RN, Claude RN, Kerlande RN, Gracie CNC, Jhanell NE, Wilda, Abigail and some many people made our stay as comfortable as the could, the cleaning staff and the maintenance team did a rest job as well. “I just wanted to say Palms West hospital is and was AMAZING. My 15 year old son was transferred from Vero Beach to Palms West for hernia surgery and they were so nice and helpful. Everyone was very attentive and showed not only my son but myself so much respect and passion. I'm sorry I cannot remember everyone's names but his surgeon Dr Amin and my son's nurse Danielle were just the sweetest. I cannot thank everyone enough for the time and lovely experience despite the circumstances of being there. So I just wanted to say this was by far the best hospital we have been to. Obviously I hope we n”

“My wife gave birth at Palms West. Overall, it was a positive experience aside from a couple aspects I will touch on. Our doctor and MOST of the nurses were fantastic! On the flip side, the AC system was malfunctioning one night, and it was 62 degrees the entire night! The nurses this particular night couldn’t care less about this or really about doing their job in general. Brutal way to welcome your newborn into the world. The temperature on a post-partum floor was completely unacceptable. Our baby was freezing, as were we. Just a miserable night. Hate to have that overshadow an otherwise very”
