What visitors are saying
“We’ve visited Reading Terminal Market many times, and every trip feels like a new discovery. There are so many different vendors here that you can truly find anything you’re in the mood for — from iconic Philly cheesesteaks to donuts, bakeries, fresh produce, seafood, Amish comfort food, and more. It’s not just a tourist spot — locals come here all the time for groceries and quick meals, which really adds to the lively and authentic atmosphere. The energy inside is always fun and bustling, especially during weekends. It’s a market where you can walk, eat, snack, shop, and repeat! Whether you”

“It is the best and largest food hall I know of in the USA. It is always a must-visit when I am in Philadelphia. While you can buy fresh fruits, vegetables, meat, seafood, spices, etc. there, most of the offerings are prepared foods: Amish, Cajun, fried or BBQ chicken, famous Philadelphia sandwiches, baked goods, and sweets of every kind. I think there are 70-80 food "stalls" in the Reading Terminal Market. I love the place!”

“This is a foodie Shangri-la - I visited on my way out of town and my only regret was that I didn’t plan every meal here during my stay. I can’t wait to go back. Because i only had one meal to get (and only one stomach) i agonized over what to get. Obviously Philly Cheesesteak was a must, but there’s Italian pulled pork, Fillipino food, Cajun, Deli meats. And you can just go vegetable shopping or get coffee and some cookies. Just an incredible number of options.”

“What an experience, I literally had planned to go here on my trip then it so happens to be right next to my hotel! I only was in Philly for 24 hours! I had tried quite a few things, and there’s some things that I literally will think while I’m back at home (in Boston) I will never look at another Cheesesteak again, unless it’s in Philly that’s for sure! The fruity pebble rice crispy was amazing! At 4 seasons I was absolutely in love with my strawberry banana smoothie, couldn’t leave Philly without getting another one before we hit the road.4th street cookie got me when they told me they had a ”

“My best friend and I stopped on our way back from NYC. It was such a cool experience. We have nothing like this where we are from. There were so many great places inside we even took a cooler so we could take things home. two main standouts for us were Wilt's chocolate smothered berries and Miller's Twists. Welts strawberries were so fresh and ripe, and I have no clue how because it was January! You could Smell Miller's pretzels from far away! We tried the ham and cheese, cheesesteak, & pretzel dog. The pretzel dog was the best I have ever had! I did get the nacho cheese to dip, but honestly i”

“Nothing like the 1970s and 80s. Wonderful place to enjoy a large variety of food. Located in the heart of Philadelphia the city brotherly love and sisterly affection. I highly recommended visitors to come and enjoy it. The Philadelphia Flowers Show is going on right now next door at the Pennsylvania Convention Center.”

“Reading Market is my number one attraction in Philadelphia. If you are staying in the city for any length of time, it’s practically the most important place to be familiar with. You want a good bar, a top cheesesteak place, seafood, a grocery store, coffee, and a spot for free Wi-Fi? It’s the best one-stop shop. It’s also an interesting place to sit for a while and experience the diverse subsections of locals and travelers.”

“Parking is a pain, but you get a discount once you validate your ticket inside the Reading Terminal Market. The place is packed - like sardines, which my husband wasn’t a fan of. The food was crazy expensive but it wasn’t cheap either. Trying to find a seat to eat your meal at was harassment basically. We were able to find a seat fairly easily, but once people noticed we were almost done, they hovered over us and started guarding the table even before we packed up. Flying Monkey was the best part of this trip - those Coconut Almond Crunch Cookies were crack. LOVED. The line was too long for th”

“I love how fresh the food is here!! Ive gone to reading terminal throughout my life residing in Philly and never was disappointed. So many great local shops tp buy from, great quality products and food. Also some stores participant with a company called TooGood TooGo where you can buy discounted meals/groceries for a very low price giving you access to fresh food for cheap. The pictures posted are what I had recived for a $6 produce bag (still got some fruits thrown in there) and I was able to make very yummy spaghetti sauce from scratch.
