“Very impressed with the service and food at Roka Akor on Clark St. We ordered a couple shareables and two rolls along with two desserts. My wife’s blood orange margarita was really good and the two glasses of wine I had were excellent. Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive. Loved sitting in the booth. Very lovely dinner with my wife at Christmas time in Chicago. Couldn’t have asked for a better dinner. The desserts were the best we’ve ever had. Thank you and we’ll be back the next time we are in the area.”

“Excellent service and food! We checked with the staff for halal options and all their prime cuts and chiken yakatori were halal. Kathryn was excellent and ealked us through their menu for the best experience! We ordered the chicken yakatori, fingerling potatoes, prime NY strip steak and Skirt Strip steak... “Litteraly perfection. The food was unbelievable. One of the dishes I was not a fan of was the mushroom risotto, which honestly tasted to both of us like soap. Otherwise, everything else was absolutely delicious. All 5 omakase courses were served at great intervals, never felt rushed, and the service was very polite, although at some point, the next courses started arriving before they cleaned our table from the previous one.
