“The whole family loved this interactive museum. There are free tours every 20 minutes or so from a real pirate (he looks like one anyways!) - if you have young kids definitely do the map/treasure hunt. If they fill out all the squares they can get treasure. - the exhibits required multiple senses like a reenactment with headphones and crates you had to smell. - if you keep your sticker you can leave and renter if you need to. - wheel chair and small stroller accessible. I wouldn’t chance a double stroller though! - no food or drinks allowed- they will make you throw out your coffee All in”

“This is true gem! We went as adults without children and still enjoyed the scavenger hunt and artifacts. The layout is perfect as each room has different hands on activities as well as historical reading and learning experiences. The flow is laid out well so that one area doesn't get bottlenecked and you can move at your own pace. The tour is self guided and you can interact with almost everything inside.
