“The hotel was nice and very clean, and the breakfast was good with plenty of options. The front desk experience was mixed. The girl who helped me was very kind and professional, and she made me feel welcome. But, the day shift guy at the front desk was the opposite rude and unhelpful and he don’t mind showing it , which really affected the overall experience. With better consistency in customer service, this hotel could be excellent.”

“I really wish I had read the reviews before we booked!!! Our room was definitely not up to Hilton standards. Very dated. Frayed and dirty carpet and sticky floors. Torn fabric on the sofa. The towel bars by the kitchen and bath had been removed. The smell is not pleasant, like a mildew bath curtain or cheap cleaner. Housekeeping came to re mop which helped in the kitchen. Furniture was rusted or broken. Breakfast was OK at best.|Actually had the room that was on the review when I finally read it.”

“Miracle from housekeeping was very helpful. The sign in the lobby said the hotel will be undergoing renovations. The hallway and room are on the dark side. When we first arrived and walked down the hallway to elevator you could smell a sewage smell. It was an intermittent sewage smell throughout the day, even on the third floor where our room was located. It would happen in the morning, afternoon, and evening. Which also irritated my eyes. The front desk was advised. The hotel location is in a good location for walkability to Sam’s Club, HEB, dining, and nearby employers.”

“Although it is advertised as having one, there is NO GYM at this hotel. The front desk said that I should have known because it is stated as not having a gym on their website. This is not correct. The website clearly states that the hotel includes a fitness center. If you want to get a little workout in during your stay, do not stay here. For $300-400 per night, you should have something more than just TV through an antenna. You will not be able to select Netflix or easily access desired channels because there is not guide. You have to flip through the channels, which are only available thoug”

“The good: Our king room was fresh and clean. The huge glassed in shower was a plus, as were the refrigerator, microwave, toaster and dishwasher. The meh: Unless you're a heavy sleeper, avoid the first and second floor rooms near the exterior doors. We'd had an early flight and were in bed by 9:30 pm. Between 10:30 and midnight the exterior door next to our room must have performed it's window rattling, metal on metal slam (BAM!) at least 20 times. After 5-6 times, we called the front desk to ask for help. They offered to move us, but now it was almost 11 pm and we were unpacked and”

“Stayed 10/16/25. Website said the hotel is being renovated and the fitness center would be closed. Fine. I planned to swim and my husband planned to watch the MLB championship game. BUT...we get checked in only to find that the pool/hot tub are also closed, and the room has no cable TV.”

“The Homewood Suites in Midland was an absolute gem. Its prime location made it an ideal base for my business trip. Situated conveniently near HEB, Sam’s Club, and a fantastic local cafe, it provided everything I needed for a successful trip. The friendly and attentive team members at Homewood went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay during a business trip.”

“This hotel has a great location to the area. We were notified that renovation was going on and the elevator would be out from 8:30 -530. That was the last time we ever heard from any staff at this hotel. We were charged for parking so beware they will charge you without notifying you. This is absolutely ridiculous since they are doing renovations. The rooms are nice and clean but there's plenty other hotels that are around that don't charge for parking. I won't be back.”

“My best friends and I had the BEST stay! I can honestly say this place was amazing from start to finish. The rooms were spotless and super comfortable, the pool was refreshing and fun, and we absolutely loved the breakfast and pantry options which was such a convenient touch! Every staff member we encountered was so friendly and outgoing & made us feel right at home. We also appreciated how convenient it was to order from food delivery apps to the hotel as well. We honestly never had to leave the room if we didn’t want to! If I ever find myself in Midland again, this will definitely be my go”
