“My partner and I have just come to the end of our trip for our 30th birthdays. Before coming, reading the reviews - we were a bit concerned with what people had said. We booked a premium room to be on the safe side. We arrived after 7 hours of flights and the staff were very nice. We were early so wandered down to Times Square until check in. Our first room unfortunately was missing a blind chain so we weren’t able to put the blind down. However, after going to reception, they were very understanding and moved us to a new room which was better and they were nothing but apologetic. Electric bli”

“3/5. It is very outdated and currently undergoing construction, so throughout the day and sometimes into the evening you can hear construction tools. It made it difficult to fully relax during the stay. My room was also near the elevator, and we could constantly hear it thumping every time it moved, which added even more noise. On the positive side, the room itself was clean. The sheets and towels were fresh and well maintained, which I appreciated. However, the room felt like it was falling apart in several places. The TV didn’t work at all because none of the channels had signal, the bathr”

“Start with the bad Room was really cold even with the heater on full blast . There was a balcony and the balcony door was quite loose and draughty, the windows were not double glaze and you could hear a lot of the sirens and going on’s outside . The room was very dated but clean . No remote for the tv. Not many plug sockets and some did not look safe . The main door had a dent in the front and didn’t feel very secure .  We had 2 double beds and they were quite springy . The good Staff at reception were really friendly, the bell boys were really attentive . Breakfast was included in my price an”

“We have just returned from 5 days at the Manhattan , we had concerns after reading the reviews & I am glad to say we did not experience any of the said problems from other reviews . Location -perfect Staff - very friendly Breakfast - a basic grab & go kiosk , but we enjoyed our croissant and coffee every morning ! Rooms - we upgraded via love holidays after reading the negative room reviews , we only paid an extra £125 to upgrade and the charge also then included breakfast ! The room was great, all newly renovated with a huge comfy bed , view over broadway ! Large tv and coffee machine &”

“I recently stayed at The Manhattan at Times Square Hotel and had a great overall experience, especially given the unbeatable location in the heart of Midtown. Being just steps from Times Square, Broadway theaters, and multiple subway lines made it incredibly convenient for seeing shows, exploring the city, and getting around without hassle. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff was welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. My room was clean, comfortable, and quiet considering how close the hotel is to all the energy of Times Square. The bed was especially comfortable after long days ”

“My experience was very disappointing. The only real advantage of this hotel is its location, just steps away from Times Square. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end. Upon arrival, I was assigned a room in unacceptable condition. The facilities were visibly worn down and poorly maintained. There were not enough functional electrical outlets, and the bathtub malfunctioned on the first day. These are fundamental issues that should be checked before any room is given to a guest. What made the situation worse was the lack of responsiveness from most of the front desk staff. I spoke wit”

“Fair warning: this hotel is under construction, and it shows. I stayed in a standard room first and later upgraded to a “premium” room for an additional $300. Unfortunately, the upgrade was not worth it. Standard room: Only book this if location is your top priority. The carpet was worn and dirty, the mattress had noticeable springs, and the room overall felt tired and poorly maintained. Premium room (paid upgrade): I regretted paying extra. The room still had multiple issues and did not feel premium at all. This experience convinced me to stick with well-known hotel chains in NYC (Hilton, ”

“After reading some of the reviews, I wasn't looking forward to staying at this hotel. However, that all changed when I opened the door to my room. It was huge. 2 double beds, which were super comfy. A large bathroom and a great view. It does seem that if you are staying on the higher floors, 19,20,21 and 22, the rooms have been upgraded. I would definitely stay here again. I didn't have a great deal of interactions with the staff, but when I did, they were always polite and friendly. The location was also perfect.”

“My daughter & I came here for her 18th birthday and I was disappointed that our room wasn’t ready when we arrived after a 5 hour flight we didn’t want to wait an additional 2 hours before our room was ready. Our room was upgraded to a one bedroom suite it was nice, clean and on the 19th floor that’s why I gave 3 stars. The hotel staff were nice and responsive I just didn’t like waiting so long for our room to get ready. Nice location close to everything this hotel has the opportunity to be a great hotel but they need major changes”
