Sean Mannion’s first comments about Jalen Hurts followed a familiar pattern. What comes next will determine Mannion’s success. The new OC spoke highly of Hurts in his first news conference, mostly because that's what is done. Going back to his freshman season of 2016 at the University of Alabama, has had 11 offensive coordinators. That counts his sixth with the Eagles as he enters his seventh NFL season. This fact is so jarring that Eagles legend cracked a joke about it last week. “We joke sometimes and say, ‘You...

What visitors are saying

“Honestly the newspaper itself is fantastic in both the depth of the articles and the journalistic integrity but the subscription services is just awful and in trying to cancel I just had one of the rudest people I have ever encountered. She talked over me, was literally outright rude and dismissive and then tried to get me to stay with other offers and was offended when I wouldn’t continue my subscription. No matter how much I like the paper, WILL NEVER get a digital subscription again!”

“NEVER get a subscription to this paper. They will NOT refund your money if you cancel. Operators are rude and not helpful. Although I appreciate their reporting and articles I cannot recommend this publication due to their cancelation policy. Absolutely abysmal.”

— Nick Spencer · ★☆☆☆☆

“Terrible billing practices. They make canceling your subscription a pain. When you do finally speak with someone to cancel, they will pressure you into various levels on "limited time offers" to maintain your subscription.”

— James Hogan · ★☆☆☆☆

“Would give 0 stars. Not a subscriber, but I placed an order in February for some Eagles items after the Super Bowl. It has been 9 months since then and I haven’t received my items and have gotten no updates. I reach out over phone and there’s nobody I can speak to about this. They just tell me they will take my information and follow up with me through an email, but I have done this multiple times and have never received an update. Paying hundreds of dollars just to not receive my order and having no updates along the way is completely unacceptable. Do not order from here”

— Eric Johnson · ★☆☆☆☆

“Don’t subscribe, even for a promotional offer! Very deceptive billing practices and the representatives are trained to give you a hard time if you ask to unsubscribe. In my case, the Inquirer continued to bill me after cancellation. After multiple calls, and after receiving an email from the Inquirer confirming my refund amount, they have chosen to deflect and investigate whether a refund is due. Super shameful and disappointing.”

— Yarissa Luna · ★☆☆☆☆

“Wow, I always thought highly of the Philadelphia Inqurier, but they're scam artists. Unsubscribed me from their subscription and STILL charged me. REFUSED to give a refund and continued to charge me. Disgusting buisness practices.”

— Billy Walker · ★☆☆☆☆

“Awful service. For one of Phillys largest newspapers, they have no level of service. They’ve outsourced all support to the Philippines, cancelling is nearly impossible, and their delivery drivers don’t deliver 80% of the time. Would not recommend to anyone.”

— Brett Geaman · ★☆☆☆☆

“Made it very difficult to cancel subscription. You can only cancel over the phone: an online/digital subscription should be able to be cancelled online, a dirty practice by the Inquirer. After a very long period of being on hold (of note, you can only call during business hours), I was able to speak to an agent about cancelling; I got a sense that the agent was coached in being quite pushy in preventing cancellations. After speaking to the agent for nearly 15 minutes during which time I made multiple clear and concise requests to cancel the service, the agent fulfilled the request. Poor practi”

“I do not have a subscription to the Inquirer but started finding it in my driveway several months ago first every day but now only every weekend. I have tried stopping this deliver 13 times including contacting their chief editor with no success. Very annoying. It just ends up in the trash unread. I guess my next attempt should be contacting a local TV station trouble shooter to see if maybe they can succeed where I have failed. No wonder print media is tanking if this is how they run their business.”

— V F · ★☆☆☆☆

“If I could put less than 1 star I would! WORST customer service I've ever dealt with. We have been trying to stop delivery of a newspaper since (no kidding) Oct. 2024. Now my Aunt has passed and the papers just keep piling up!. They are disgusting! We have to go and clean it up every few days while dealing with our grief. Philadelphia Inquire you a disgrace and the people you have working in customer service are HORRIBLE!”
