“I used to work on Michigan Ave, and for a long time this place had been on my list of places to try. I brought my husband here as we were in the area and I finally said let's give it a try. We were able to be seated right away without a reservation, but I would recommend getting a reservation regardless. Our service, I forgot his name, was amazing, just overall personable and attentive. “Delicious and satisfying lunch! We started with shared appetizers of pig ears and bone marrow served with toasted bread. For the main courses, my friend had a duck accompanied by three buns to stuff the meat into, while I opted for the aged pork chop, which came with small potatoes. We ordered from the shareable starters which consisted of the Whipped Ricotta, Mushroom Trio, Salted Beets, and the soup special -- Sweet Potato Soup. The soup was outstanding!!! “Blown away by the Purple Pig. Worth its multiple Michelin stars. Bonus, learned all about Michelin star restaurants! We sat right at the counter overlooking the kitchen and listening to the chefs cook on the line, so it was like dinner and a (food network) show! They take exceptional care of every dish and every part of the experience is crafted by with excellence, from ordering to delivery.
