What visitors are saying

“The three ladies there have been nothing but helpful. I’ve had multiple questions answered by them and they’ve been pretty patient. Downsides is the lunch break which I’m assuming is a mandated thing and there’s no drop box for outside of operation hours(unless I missed it) which is why the 4. Maybe I’ve gotten lucky with interactions but they’ve all seem very nice and professional from all my experience. Edit: and on my first time coming in the lady did mention that they had lunch breaks which I was very appreciative of. I would not have known otherwise and that saved me future time/frustrat”

“This is to update my review from 8 years ago which simply said: Why no self-serve machine?? Last week, I happened to go try to mail things right during their unadvertised (on their website or here as of yet) lunch break (I have now sent an edit to Google maps to include it in the hours). 2 people were in line who didn't realize they would be waiting 45 minutes. Noticing the window was closed, I happened to look at the door to see the break was until 2pm. The lobby was open so it was not obvious. Today, I went to mail 3 things and was greeted roughly by the one employee working. The associate”

“USPS, Train your employees to use your eyes. Stop delivering our packages to the wrong (same) address! This problem has been ongoing on and off for the past 3-4 years. It’s not at all OKAY! We had 5 packages of this occurrences.”

— Muting Ma · ★☆☆☆☆

“We came in today and we’re serviced by a woman with long curly hair. She was super kind and incredibly helpful, as well as super fast, we were in an out in two minutes. This location is a thousand times better than the one in Oakland. I would come back just for people like her who make sending mail fast and easy!”

— Sofia · ★★★★★

“Would be helpful if the website or Google information posted that they take a lunch break from 1 to 2 PM every day and no one is available at the window. Also more than once I’ve been here and they said they are out of stamps. How is the post office of all places out of stamps?”

— Nicole Andersen Davidson · ★★★☆☆

“Post office is fine and PO boxes are fine, if not a little bit expensive. But the hour long break in the middle of the day creates a lot of problems for picking up mail. Wouldn't it be possible to have two people working and have them take breaks one after the other instead of the entire post office shutting down for an hour?”

— Fiamma Giger · ★☆☆☆☆

“Rude and lazy staff that make up reasons to try and make your mailing more difficult than it has to be.”

— Riley Gruber · ★☆☆☆☆

“Good little community post office with lots of PO Boxes. I don’t think I’ve ever had to wait in line here. I do frequently come with all my postage purchased online, so I just drop off 90% of the time. I do often purchase stamps at the counter, staff are always very friendly and take time to show me the seasonal stamps and cute special editions. I send a lot of snail mail for fun. It’s one of the least busy, and friendliest post offices in the entire east bay.”

— Karleen Eberle · ★★★★★

“helpful and kind staffs, willing to take time to explain. the line is usually long and you just have to be patient. i always see the same staff(s) working, im guessing they may be overworked / long shift. thankful for my local post office!”

— Hester Pamela · ★★★★★

“Don’t do postal business here, the employees are lazy - long lines are expected. If you have a PO Box expect a backlog of mail. It’s frequent that I find disgruntled employees arguing with customers with valid service concerns. Don’t expect 3 to 5 days turnaround time if you are collecting mail at this location. Employees here cannot simplify or prioritize work are easily distracted and have a tendency to be in the back sorting area on their phones. One girl who works there for awhile is the exceptional standout. She‘s nice and can single-handedly hold down the shop herself; she deserves the ”
