What visitors are saying

“You hype up low or non-existent weather threats with your ALERT DAY b.s. in order to get people to tune in, or get clicks on your website or social media. It’s disgusting. When you cry wolf all the time, people stop paying attention. I no longer consider you a serious news organization. You have completely lost all credibility. BREAKING NEWS…I will no longer be watching, and I deleted your weather app.”

— Don Cook · ★☆☆☆☆

“Can’t believe I’m watching a weather man wearing a suit and gym shoes. Either wear dress shoes or jogging suit. Some things just need to stay the same. Too much lacs in work force anymore.”

— Jim Miles · ★☆☆☆☆

“Went to watch my husband's interview and everyone was so welcoming and nice!”

— Alicia Dover · ★★★★★ · 2019-9-29

“Has the pleasure of being interviewed by Dawne Gee (for the second time). She was lovely as were her production staff.”

— JoAnne Spiller · ★★★★★ · 2025-4-12

“They were amazing, they hosted me and my daughter on one of their segments, had amazingly friendly staff and the people were so nice to talk too. The facility was of course fast paced and such, but it's a news studio.”

— Kylie McCarthy · ★★★★★

“I had a great experience on Wave 3 News. It was my first time on TV so I was nervous but everyone helped give me confidence. I was so surprised by their level of professionalism. They did everything so effortlessly.”

— Charles Pait · ★★★★★ · 2019-3-26

“Was a guest on the Dawn Gee show this afternoon. Ample parking, easy access. Had to have proof of vacanation. Very professional staff!”

— trudy wheeler · ★★★★★

“They need to stream during sever weather and break in periodically. Stop putting your weather men on go hours at a time. They are not TV, movie, originality. I know they have important information for 29 Counties, but they can do it a manner of breaking in and streaming. Even side block screens. Wave 3 is the worst at this in the area when there is a chance of severe weather. Again, I. Understand, but they need to realize that people p s e other things going on besides looking at Kevin H and his staff regurgitating information for hours.”

— Dennis Trinkle · ★★☆☆☆

“I park at a garage for work that is across from WAVE and Google asks me to write a review every time I do that and it bugs me. So I'm writing this review in hopes that it'll stop. I'm sure WAVE is neat.”

— Dean Harris · ★★★★★

“Great local news station for local and national news, sports, and weather. Their staff care about the community and surrounding area, and involved in local events.”

— Sandy's Cookbook · ★★★★★
