Chomutov, Czech Republic – After three years playing overseas, former Czech Republic youth international Martin Haš is returning home. While he initially tried out with Plzeň, the 21-year-old defenseman ultimately signed with rival club litvínov.

“He will move to Chomutov, where he will adapt from overseas hockey to the Czech style,” Vrábel explained. “We will closely monitor his progress and believe he will become an vital part of the Pirates. We will than discuss his future involvement with Litvínov.”
Vrábel emphasized that Haš will primarily be available to Chomutov this season.
“Martin has gained experience in Finland and North America. He wasn’t drafted in the fifth round by accident,” Vrábel added. “He is a young defender with great potential, and we will help him launch his career on Czech ice.”
