Adelaide, Australia – Anthony Kim continues to defy expectations and rewrite his career narrative, securing a three-shot victory at the LIV Golf Adelaide event on Sunday, February 15, 2026. The win, Kim’s first since 2010, came at The Grange Golf Club and was sealed with a blistering final-round 9-under 63, bringing his 72-hole total to 23-under 265.

Jon Rahm finished as the runner-up at 20-under, struggling to a 71 in the final round after contending for the lead throughout the tournament. A tightly packed leaderboard saw Bryson DeChambeau, Tyrrell Hatton and Peter Uihlein share third place at 17-under. Uihlein ultimately secured solo third with a total of 21-under.

Kim’s triumph is not only a personal milestone but also a significant moment in the broader LIV Golf landscape. The victory earns him a $4 million winner’s share of the $20 million individual purse. He also gains 23 Official World Golf Ranking points and 200 LIV Golf points towards the season-long race, where the ultimate prize is $6 million.

The tournament showcased a dramatic shift in fortunes on the final day. Heading into Sunday, Bryson DeChambeau and Jon Rahm held a five-shot lead after a dominant third round, but both faltered, allowing Kim to capitalize. As reported on Saturday, DeChambeau and Rahm were at 19 under, five shots ahead of Kim, who was writing his own compelling storyline.

While the individual competition drew significant attention, the team aspect of LIV Golf also reached its climax. Ripper GC emerged victorious in the team competition, finishing at 55 under par for the four rounds. Legion XIII finished second, followed closely by 4 Aces.

The Australian contingent at The Grange also had reasons to celebrate. Cameron Smith and Lucas Herbert both finished at 16-under, while Marc Leishman ended at 15-under. Smith’s performance helped propel Ripper GC to the team title. Smith, along with Herbert, had made significant gains on Saturday, with Smith posting an 8-under 64.

Ben Campbell, representing New Zealand, was also in contention, sharing the lead midway through the third round alongside DeChambeau and Rahm. He ultimately finished further down the leaderboard, but his presence in the mix highlighted the growing international talent within LIV Golf.

The event also saw notable performances from other players. Dean Burmester and Lucas Herbert tied for sixth at 16-under, while a group including Marc Leishman, Sebastián Muñoz, and Branden Grace tied for eighth at 15-under. Several players finished at 12-under, including Dustin Johnson, Talor Gooch, and Caleb Surratt.

Elvis Smylie, fresh off a victory on his LIV debut in Saudi Arabia, finished at 4-under, demonstrating consistency across multiple events. His performance contributed to the overall competitive depth of the tournament.

The absence of cuts in LIV Golf events meant all 57 players completed the tournament, providing a platform for a wide range of golfers to compete and showcase their skills. The event, the second completed of the 2026 season, underscored the league’s commitment to a comprehensive and inclusive format.

Looking ahead, the LIV Golf schedule continues in three weeks with LIV Golf Singapore, promising another exciting chapter in the evolving landscape of professional golf. The Adelaide event has undoubtedly raised the stakes and set a high bar for competition as the season progresses.

The victory for Kim is particularly noteworthy given his long absence from the winner’s circle. His performance in Adelaide signals a potential resurgence and adds another compelling narrative to the already dynamic world of LIV Golf. The $4 million prize will undoubtedly be a welcome reward for a player who has overcome significant challenges to return to the pinnacle of the sport.
