Live-Action Cells at Work! Film Releases New Trailers Ahead of December 13 Premiere
The live-action film adaptation of Akane Shimizu’s manga Cells at Work! is set to premiere in Japan on December 13. Two new videos for the film have been released.
The first clip introduces a healthy high school girl named Niko. It shows her red blood cells delivering oxygen while her white blood cells and killer T cells protect her from bacteria. The clip highlights Niko’s body releasing adrenaline, endorphins, and dopamine when she is with her crush.
The second clip features Niko’s unhealthy father, Shigeru. It depicts his red blood cells struggling to deliver oxygen due to his alcohol consumption and struggles with bowel control.
