Live! Casino Pittsburgh has opened new facilities to celebrate its fourth anniversary. The enhancements include a new poker room, a high-limit table games room, and a meeting and event space.
At the official opening, casino team members and local leaders participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Pittsburgh Penguins Stanley Cup champion, Phil Bourque, played the first poker hand.
Since its opening in November 2020, the casino has invested $7.5 million into improvements. The new poker room spans 1,400 square feet and is located on the first floor, next to the main gaming area. It includes six large tables and several big-screen TVs. The high-limit table games room is 950 square feet and features two blackjack tables, a midi baccarat table, large HD TVs, and a bar.

Sean Sullivan: It’s great to be here, and thank you! We are thrilled to celebrate our fourth anniversary with some exciting new facilities. We’ve recently opened a completely redesigned poker room, a high-limit table games room, and an event space to enhance our offerings. This is all part of our commitment to providing an exceptional gaming experience and entertainment for our guests.
Interviewer: The new poker room sounds impressive. What can guests expect from that space?
Sean Sullivan: Absolutely! Our new poker room is 1,400 square feet, situated conveniently on the first floor next to the main gaming area. It features six large tables, giving players plenty of space to enjoy their game. We’ve also installed several big-screen TVs, so guests can catch their favorite sports while they play.
Interviewer: And what about the high-limit table games room? How does it differ from your standard offerings?
Sean Sullivan: The high-limit table games room is a 950 square-foot area designed for those looking for a more exclusive experience. It includes two blackjack tables, a midi baccarat table, and large HD TVs. We also have a bar to enhance the atmosphere. This room reflects our commitment to catering to all types of players, from casual gamers to high-rollers.

It was a wonderful moment for us to celebrate together, and having a Pittsburgh Penguins legend like Phil Bourque play the first poker hand added to that special occasion.
Interviewer: I hear you also offered a free table games dealer school this year. Can you explain a bit about that initiative?
Sean Sullivan: Yes! From March 4 to April 12, we hosted a free table games dealer school at the Westmoreland Mall. Licensed instructors taught participants the skills needed to become table games dealers. This was a great opportunity for us to engage with the community and offer career options in the gaming industry. We believe in supporting local talent, which aligns with our values as a community partner.
