Liverpool FC has officially partnered with the Ocean Risk and Resilience Action Alliance to launch a new ocean conservation and coastal resilience initiative. Announced at the start of New York Climate Week, the collaboration aims to raise global awareness of ocean health and protect vulnerable coastal communities.

The initiative operates as part of Liverpool’s broader sustainability strategy known as The Red Way. According to the club, the partnership combines Liverpool’s massive global reach with the specialized work of the Ocean Risk and Resilience Action Alliance across finance, insurance, government, and conservation sectors to promote direct investment into marine environments.

Core Goals of the Liverpool FC and ORRAA Partnership

The alliance will focus heavily on engaging Liverpool supporters through targeted educational programming and collaborative research. According to official club announcements, the organizations plan to foster thought leadership while bringing together key figures from business, finance, and sustainability to explore Nature-based Solutions designed to reinforce coastal communities against environmental threats.
