Celebrations turned to chaos in liverpool on Monday when a car drove into a crowd celebrating the city’s Premier League title win. The Merseyside Police reported at least 27 injuries and arrested a 53-year-old local man. Authorities have stated the incident is not being treated as an act of terrorism.
The incident occurred around 6:00 p.m. near Water Street, shortly after Liverpool’s victory bus passed through the area. Emergency services quickly responded, providing on-site treatment and establishing cordons. The North West Ambulance Service coordinated with other agencies to manage the aftermath of the Liverpool Premier League parade.

It just wasn’t stopping. I managed to grab my daughter who was with me and jump out of the way… The car missed myself and my family by literally inches,” Cole said.
