Tino Livramento will headline the England Under-21s squad as they seek to defend thier title at the 2025 UEFA Under-21s Euro in Slovakia. The Newcastle United defender’s selection follows a stellar season that included his first senior international cap.
Livramento,22,also played a key role in Newcastle’s Carabao Cup victory over Liverpool earlier this year,ending a 70-year trophy drought for the Magpies.He is joined by Liverpool’s Premier League title winning defender Jarell Quansah and charlie Creswell, Ronnie edwards, CJ Egan-Riley, and Brooke Norton Cuffy in the defensive ranks.
In a surprising move, Crystal Palace goalkeeper Owen Goodman was omitted from the squad despite an impressive loan spell at AFC Wimbledon, where he recorded 25 clean sheets and helped the Dons secure promotion. James Beadle of Brighton will rather headline the goalkeeping options, alongside Teddy Sharman-Lowe from Chelsea and Tommy Simkin of Stoke City.
