LMU Men’s Basketball Signs Point Guard AJ Thomas

LMU men’s basketball has signed point guard AJ Thomas. Aiming to join the Lions for the 2025-26 season, Thomas is a class of 2025 prospect from Eduprize High School in Gilbert, Arizona.

Head Coach Stan Johnson expressed enthusiasm, stating, “AJ is a relentless competitor who makes everyone better. His ability to drive to the basket and his passing skills will make him challenging to defend. He embodies our program values, is a great person, teammate, and student. We are proud to be part of AJ’s future.”

Thomas, a strong and athletic right-handed guard standing 6-4, previously competed for West Coast Elite.

In his own words, Thomas said, “I picked LMU because it’s the perfect fit for me. Their resources match or exceed those of many high major schools. The coaching staff is straightforward and ensures I am always growing. Moreover, their education is among the best in the nation. Choosing LMU was an obvious decision for me.”

This signing marks Coach Johnson’s first recruit for the class of 2025.
