Search for Stolen bentley Leads to Firearms Discovery
A loaded shotgun was discovered hidden under the bed of a young child during a police search in Auckland related to the theft of a luxury Bentley Bentayga SUV. The Bentley was reported stolen from the North Shore area in the early hours of December 1st.

The investigation into the Bentley’s disappearance led officers to a residence in Glen Eden,West Auckland,where thay also recovered four other stolen vehicles. The shotgun was found concealed beneath the bed where a young boy was sleeping.
Arrests and Charges
A 31-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman where arrested in connection with the incident. Both individuals have been charged with unlawful possession of a firearm and dishonesty offenses related to the alleged use of stolen credit cards.
As of this report, neither suspect faces charges directly related to the stolen vehicles, but police state that inquiries are ongoing.
Bentley Recovery and Ongoing Investigation
Although the stolen Bentley was not initially located in Glen Eden, it was subsequently recovered in Huia last week. Police are continuing to investigate the original burglary and theft and have not ruled out the possibility of further arrests.
The arrested pair made their first appearance in the Waitākere District Court and are scheduled to reappear in March.
