Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania – A diverse range of community events are scheduled across Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania this weekend and into next week, offering activities from theatrical performances and fish fries to career fairs and historical society meetings.

Friday, February 6th, sees a full calendar. In Boardman, Ohio, the DARE Singles Group will host a Card Night at Perkins, beginning at 5 p.m. (The Morning Journal, Salem News). Columbiana, Ohio, will feature a Chocolate Walk alongside a sale at the Good As New Shoppe at the Methodist Church, open from 10 a.m. To 4 p.m. The Squeaky Wheel Theater Company will present “Frozen: The Broadway Musical” at the Columbiana Arts Theater (The CAT) at 7 p.m., with tickets and information available at atthecat.com. Several communities will host traditional Friday night fish fries, including New Waterford, Newell, and Washingtonville. The Newell Lions Club Fish Fry, located at 510 Washington St., will offer sandwiches for $8 and meals for $12, open for indoor dining. (The Morning Journal)

East Liverpool will host a complete breakfast at the East Liverpool Masonic Temple from 8-11 a.m. And a steak fry from 2-7 p.m. At VFW Post 66. Lisbon will host a brunch for the DAHS Class of 1963 at Pondi’s at 10 a.m. (The Review).

The week of February 9th through February 15th includes a variety of meetings and events. East Liverpool will hold a Preschool Story Time on Monday, February 9th, at the Carnegie Public Library. (The Morning Journal) Salem will host a Salem Community Pantry food distribution on Monday for residents of the 44460 zip code. (The Morning Journal) Several townships will hold trustee meetings, including Hanover and Yellow Creek. Wellsville will host a food distribution by Living Well Church on Tuesday, February 10th.
