Security Concerns Prompt Decision to Limit Access
The Defense Council of the Donetsk region has approved a decision to restrict the movement of charitable, public, and humanitarian organizations in cities and towns where active hostilities are taking place. This decision was announced by Vadim Filashkin, the head of the regional military administration.
Filashkin explained that this decision was made considering the security situation, which poses a threat to the lives of these individuals. The restriction aims to ensure the safety of those involved in humanitarian efforts.
To enter territories with movement restrictions, a written request to the military administration of the local area and the availability of appropriate written permission are required. Filashkin emphasized that if the security situation allows for safe stay in the community, the military administration must provide written permission to stay in the community.
It is worth noting that over the last 24 hours, the Russians have shelled energy infrastructure in five regions, highlighting the ongoing security concerns in the area.
