Boston Logan International Airport is experiencing significant travel disruptions as a powerful nor’easter impacts the northeastern United States. North Station primarily serves destinations north through Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine, while South Station connects to cities south, including those in Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia.

Passengers traveling to or from North Station can utilize the MBTA Orange Line subway, transferring to the Blue Line at State Station to reach the airport. A shuttle bus is required for the final leg of the journey, and the total commute time is approximately 35 minutes. Conversely, the Silver Line S1 bus provides free service from Boston Logan to South Station, offering a convenient connection for travelers arriving at the airport.

The MBTA Blue Line subway also offers a direct connection between downtown Boston and the airport. Upon reaching Airport Station, travelers can take the Route 88 bus for a free shuttle ride to the airport terminals. The Blue Line connects to the Orange Line at State Street and the Green Line at Government Center, providing access from various parts of the city.

Amtrak’s BOS Airport terminal provides seamless access to Gen. Edward Lawrence Logan International Airport.
