Logan Paul Joins WWE Raw Roster After Retirement Joke
Logan Paul Joins WWE Raw, Eyes Championship Gold
Stamford, CT - Just days after joking about retirement on his YouTube show Impaulsive, Logan Paul made a surprise return to WWE, joining the Raw roster via the recently announced “transfer window.” The proclamation was made by Raw General Manager Adam Pearce at the Raw on Netflix Kickoff event today (Dec. 18) at WWE headquarters.
Paul, a former United States Champion, hasn’t been seen in WWE since losing the title to LA Knight at SummerSlam. Though, he revealed during his Raw appearance that he’s been closely following the red brand while away.
“I’ve been watching Raw a lot lately,” paul said. “And it reminded me how much I love this sport. And how much better I am at it than everyone else.”
The Maverick, known for his brash confidence, promised WWE fans that he’s coming for the top prize.
“I’m going to be WWE Champion one day,” Paul declared.
Paul’s arrival on Raw marks the second transfer since the window opened. Last week, Braun Strowman made his return from injury, joining the SmackDown roster.
While Paul is focused on conquering WWE, he didn’t shy away from addressing recent rumors of a potential boxing match with Conor McGregor.
“Of course they do,” Paul said, referring to McGregor and his brother Jake’s last opponent, Mike Tyson, expressing interest in a fight. “A payday with a Paul brother is a bucket list item for most of these washed-up fighters.”
With Paul’s arrival, Raw is sure to get even more exciting. Will The Maverick live up to his promise and capture championship gold? Only time will tell.
