Logitech Revamps Wired Peripherals for modern Workplace
Updated June 04, 2025
As companies welcome employees back to the office, many are upgrading their IT infrastructure. Logitech is addressing this need with the launch of its Signature Slim Wired Combo MK620 and MK625 for Business, offering a refreshed take on wired keyboard and mouse setups.
The new wired peripherals are designed for organizations prioritizing reliability and security in shared workspaces. Instead of replacing entire computer systems, businesses can opt for these updated computer accessories to enhance the user experience.
Henry Levak, VP of Product at Logitech for Business, said the Signature Slim Wired Combo MK620 “rewrites the old-school perception of wired devices,” offering upgraded performance and customization for government, banking, healthcare, and shared public spaces.
the Signature Slim Wired MK620 keyboard offers a laptop-style feel and includes a dedicated AI Launch Key for swift access to Microsoft Copilot for Windows or Gemini for ChromeOS. Users can also customize the key to launch other AI tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity.
For enhanced productivity, the keyboard features programmable hotkeys for meeting software like Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and Zoom. These shortcuts, configurable via Logi Tune software, enable users to mute microphones, turn off webcams, or share screens with a single keystroke.
The combo includes the Signature Wired M520 or M520 L for Business mouse, an ambidextrous design suitable for both left- and right-handed users. The mouse also features adjustable cursor speed and a SmartWheel for super-fast scrolling.
The mouse’s SmartWheel enables users to swiftly navigate lengthy web pages or spreadsheets.Silent Touch technology reduces clicking noises by 90%, ensuring a quieter work habitat.
Logitech emphasizes the practical benefits of wired devices in specific environments. Financial trading floors require instant responsiveness and physical security, while medical settings demand uninterrupted operation. Wired keyboards are also less prone to theft in schools and shared workspaces.
The Signature Slim Wired Combo MK620 is designed for easy mass deployment. IT departments can connect the keyboard and mouse via USB-C, select the desired operating system, and manage devices through Logitech’s Sync portal.
Sustainability is also a key consideration. The Signature Slim Wired Combo MK620 is made with a minimum of 66% post-consumer recycled plastic and ships in FSC-certified paper packaging. The keyboard plate features low-carbon aluminum, and the combo consumes less energy than its predecessor.
The absence of batteries or recharging requirements reduces maintainance and enhances reliability, leading to fewer support calls and help desk tickets.
