‘Lokah – Chapter 1: Chandra’ Launches Malayalam Superhero Film Universe

Dulquer Salmaan’s production company, Wayfarer Films, is creating a Malayalam superhero film universe with its new project, Lokah. The first installment, titled Lokah – Chapter 1: Chandra, features Kalyani Priyadarshan and Naslen in leading roles. The first look of this superhero film was revealed Saturday.
The initial glimpse depicts Kalyani Priyadarshan in superhero attire, shielding Naslen from armed soldiers amidst what appears to be a dystopian war zone. The film, reportedly produced with a significant budget, marks the beginning of the Malayalam superhero film universe.
Dominic Arun wrote and directed Lokah – Chapter 1: Chandra.The cast also includes Chandu Salim Kumar, Arun Kurian, and Shanti Balachandran. Unconfirmed reports suggest that Dulquer Salmaan and Tovino Thomas may make cameo appearances in the film.
Jakes Bejoy is composing the music, while Nimish Ravi is handling cinematography and Chaman Chackko is responsible for editing. Yannick Ben serves as the action choreographer for this upcoming superhero film.
