XOYO, a central London nightclub, echoed the warning, noting the pills are similar to those identified earlier in the year by the harm reduction charity The Loop. The club emphasized the presence of nitazene in the pills and advised clubbers to exercise caution.
The Loop had previously warned about high-strength MDMA pills, with a quarter of ecstasy tablets tested containing more than double the typical adult dose.
