Long Weekend Weather Forecast for AMBA
The long weekend starts with hot weather in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (AMBA). Temperatures will exceed 30°C, and rain is expected. The National Meteorological Service (SMN) has issued a yellow alert for storms, rain, and winds in seven provinces.
Saturday’s Forecast
On Saturday, highs will reach above 33°C, with lows around 23°C. There will be partial cloudiness and winds from the southeast up to 50 km/h, signaling a drop in temperatures.
Sunday’s Forecast
On Sunday, temperatures will decrease. Isolated storms are expected in the early morning and again in the afternoon, with temperatures between 15°C and 19°C. Winds could reach up to 60 km/h.
Monday’s Forecast
Monday will bring pleasant weather with a maximum temperature of 23°C and a partially cloudy sky. Throughout the week, temperatures are expected to stay below 26°C.
Weather Alerts
A yellow alert is in place for storm activity in central Jujuy and northern Salta. The area will experience isolated storms with strong electrical activity and possible hail. Rainfall is expected to accumulate between 15 mm and 30 mm.
Southern Córdoba, northeastern La Pampa, and Buenos Aires will see similar storm forecasts, with rainfall between 20 mm and 40 mm. Additionally, the central-east of La Pampa and the southwest of Buenos Aires may experience rainfall up to 50 mm.
In southern Santa Cruz, winds will range from 45 km/h to 60 km/h, with gusts potentially exceeding 85 km/h.
