Lonzo Ball Surprises Angel Reese by Paying 10 Times Her Fine

Chicago Bulls guard Lonzo Ball made a generous gesture by offering to pay Angel Reese’s fine from a game. After a double-technical foul during a match against the New York Liberty, Reese faced a fine for her ejection. Ball initially stated he would cover her fine on social media.

Later, on Reese’s podcast, “Unapologetically Angel,” Ball revealed he sent her $2,000. Reese responded, surprised, explaining that her actual fine was only $200. This meant Ball had sent her $1,800 more than needed.

Months later, Ball expressed disbelief over the technical foul call during the game, calling it a “terrible tech.” Reese had managed to get one of her technical fouls rescinded, but still had to pay for the first one. Ultimately, the situation worked out in Reese’s favor, as she received significantly more money than she required for her fine.
