Lookout Credit Union is broadening its investment management services through a new partnership with Boston-based Credit Union Wealth Group,a registered investment advisor. The collaboration aims to provide enhanced financial planning and wealth management options for the credit union’s members.
The credit union,which manages $300 million in assets,offers services including 401(k) investment options,retirement planning,financial planning,and online banking. The partnership with CU Wealth Group will incorporate practice management, marketing, compliance, and technology to improve the member experience.
Blake Roemer, chief lending officer at Lookout Credit Union, saeid the partnership followed a review of wealth management service options. He cited CU wealth Group’s professionalism, expertise, and user-friendly portal as key factors in the decision, emphasizing the goal of promoting members’ financial health.
CU Wealth Group, whose parent company Polaris Financial manages approximately $49 million across 658 accounts, previously partnered with California Community Credit Union in February to provide similar financial planning and investment management services.
