Braden Peters, the 20-year-old influencer known online as Clavicular, was hospitalized in Miami on April 14, 2026, following a suspected overdose that occurred during a live broadcast to hundreds of thousands of followers.

The incident took place while Peters was filming with other influencers at a Miami shopping district and restaurant. During a livestream on the platform Kick, viewers observed Peters exhibiting slurred speech before the broadcast abruptly ended. Video circulating online subsequently showed the influencer being carried by three men to a black car, with an ambulance positioned behind the vehicle.

Miami Police and Fire confirmed they received calls on April 14 regarding a male suffering a medical emergency near a Miami shopping district. However, first responders reported that the individual had already been removed from the scene upon their arrival. Other reports indicate the event occurred at a Miami nightclub, where livestream footage captured Peters taking a drink from a small bottle and stating he was going to be done for and that that was giga, referring to the size of the dose.

Inside the venue, footage showed Peters sitting with friends, repeatedly saying Oh my God while rubbing his eyes. He was subsequently rushed to the hospital, where The Hollywood Reporter confirmed he remained in stable condition through the night of April 14.

Post-Hospitalization Response

On the morning of April 15, 2026, Peters checked out of the hospital despite doctors ordering him to rest. He updated his followers on X, posting a selfie that showed scars on his face and describing the experience as brutal.

All of the substances are just a cope trying to feel neurotypical while being in public, but obviously that isn’t a real solution. The worst part of tonight was my face descending from the life support mask.

Following his discharge, Peters announced plans to attend a club grand opening on the night of April 15.

Background and Legal History

Peters is a prominent figure in the manosphere and is known for the looksmaxxing trend, which involves attempting to maximize physical attractiveness through extreme methods. He has been open about drug use in the past, including the use of methamphetamine for weight loss.

The suspected overdose follows recent legal issues for the influencer. In March 2026, Peters was arrested on a battery charge stemming from a February 2 incident at an Airbnb in Kissimmee, Florida. The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office stated that Peters instigated a fight between two women and posted the encounter on social media to exploit them. This investigation led to an arrest warrant and his eventual apprehension in Fort Lauderdale.

Peters has been the subject of a Florida investigation regarding a video in which he appeared to shoot an alligator.
