Loop allows users to upload and share videos up to 60 seconds long. Future features include using your voice, remixing other users’ videos, and pinning videos to your profile. Loop is part of an open social web based on ActivityPub, allowing users of other platforms such as Mastodon and Pixelfed to follow user accounts registered in Loop and use functions such as watching videos, writing comments, and sharing.
Moderation System
Loop uses a moderation system directly managed by humans, based on user trust scores. Videos uploaded by users with a low trust score are held for moderation before publication, while users with a high trust score can make the video public immediately.
