According to reporting from the Express & Star and the Swindon Advertiser, New Zealand singer Lorde headlined the All Points East festival in London’s Victoria Park, describing the event as the best line-up I’ve ever been part of. The 29-year-old artist, whose real name is Ella Yelich-O’Connor, delivered a performance that drew heavily on her fourth studio album, Virgin, which was released in June 2025.
Festival Headlining Set at Victoria Park
Playing at Victoria Park carried historical significance for the performer, who noted she had performed at the venue during the inaugural edition of All Points East in 2018.
I think this is literally the best line-up I’ve ever been part of. It’s wild, walking around during the afternoon to observe the crowd left a profound impression on me regarding what these performers are achieving. I felt so honoured to be a part of it. The various musicians you witnessed today have sought to envision an entirely different reality, mirroring how I have searched for fresh perspectives and methods of existence, which resonated deeply with me.

Earlier that day, the festival schedule featured performances by PinkPantheress, Zara Larsson, and Oklou, as reported by the Express & Star and the Swindon Advertiser.
Stage Production and Setlist Highlights
Dressed in an all-black waterproof outfit, Lorde opened her performance with Royals from her self-titled 2013 debut album before transitioning to What Was That, the lead single from her 2025 album Virgin. During the evening, the singer shared a personal anecdote with the audience about visiting Victoria Park earlier in her life with a crush, calling the experience agony before revealing that the individual was in the crowd.

For the song Liability, video footage documenting her early career was projected directly onto her shirt. Later in the set, during a performance of David, a banner bearing the phrase “I don’t belong to anyone 2013” was passed through the audience. She concluded the evening by performing her early track Ribs on a secondary stage positioned in the middle of the VIP section, where crowd members jumped alongside her.
Album Context and Touring History
The All Points East appearance supports Virgin, Lorde’s fourth studio album and her first full-length release in nearly four years. The record arrived following a string of successful UK chart releases, including Pure Heroine in 2013, Melodrama in 2017, and Solar Power in 2021, all of which secured positions in the top 10 of the UK albums chart, as noted by the Express & Star and the Swindon Advertiser. On the release day of Virgin in June 2025, the singer surprised fans with an unannounced set at the Glastonbury Festival where she played the new album in its entirety.
